December 11-13th California DUI Sobriety Checkpoints
As the holidays approach…with holiday parties already underway…California law enforcement agencies are stepping up their DUI patrols. This includes increasing the number of California DUI sobriety checkpoints that are on the road.
We know of at least three Southern California DUI sobriety roadblocks that are scheduled for this weekend. These include:
An LAPD DUI / driver’s license checkpoint that will operate on West Slauson Avenue between the 110 Freeway and South Broadway in Los Angeles. This sobriety checkpoint will be operated from 8:00pm on Friday to 3:00am on Saturday.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will conduct its DUI / driver’s license roadblock on Friday from 7:30pm until 3:00am near the 500 block of Lomas Santa Fe Drive in the city of Solana Beach.
The Valley Bureau of the Los Angeles Police Department will conduct its DUI sobriety / driver’s license checkpoint on Saturday night from 6:00pm until 1:00am. This DUI roadblock will be on Vineland Boulevard near Vanowen Street in North Hollywood.
If you have the misfortune of being arrested at one of these…or any other California DUI roadblock…know that defenses are available. If these sobriety checkpoints don’t adhere to strict protocol, your DUI charges may ultimately be dismissed.
